Rachel's Tomb, near Bethlehem, from the early 1900's. Bethlehem, 'House of Bread', first appears in the Bible as Ephrath, on whose outskirts Jacob buried his beloved wife Rachel after she died in childbirth. Card published by Isac Chagise, Jerusalem, 1918.
