Naval Postcards
Initially 'Compagnie des Services Maritimes des Messageries Nationales' (1851), later 'Compagnie des Messageries Impériales' (1853), and finally 'Compagnie des Messageries Maritimes' (1 August 1871), the company operated mainly between ports of the French Empire. Divided back postcard, postally used from MARSEILLE to ALEXANDRIA in 1910. Signed art by M. Maurice LÉVIS, French artist (1860-1940).
